These murals are designed for any age and skill level as they are meant to be as inclusive as possible. As long as a participant can choose different colored materials, they can create a recycled art mural!
Once a mural has been designed and approved, it can then be created in to a loosely painted design on a backing board such as Masonite. A typical mural is 4ftx4ft and can be decorated with many recycled materials that will be glued on with clear caulk. Murals can be made smaller or larger depending on the number of participants and the space it will go in.
A participant can usually fill a 8"x8" space in about a 30 minute time frame. Once the backing board is filled in with glued on materials, any touchups can be made. These murals are mainly created for interior walls but there is an option for exterior.
